Shell proves more gas in deepwater offshore Malaysia

Shell has discovered gas in the deepwater Marjoram structure offshore Malaysia.

THE HAGUE, the Netherlands – Shell has discovered gas in the deepwater Marjoram structure offshore Malaysia.
Marjoram-1 well was drilled in 800 m (2,624 ft) of water in block SK318, 180 km (112 mi) offshore. Earlier this year Shell proved gas with a well on theRosmari prospect in the same block.
The company has an 85% operated interest, with Petronas Carigali holding the remaining 15%.
