Solstad vessels support wind, FPSO projects in Asia, West Africa

Solstad Offshore has won contracts for five offshore vessels with a combined value of about NOK800 million ($72.5 million).

SKUDENESHAVN, NorwaySolstad Offshore has won contracts for five offshore vessels with a combined value of about NOK800 million ($72.5 million). 

The Normand Baltic construction support vessel (CSV) will provide cable repair support on an offshore wind project in Asia, a 70-day minimum program starting in the current quarter.

The same vessel has a further 150-day firm contract, due to start in first-quarter 2025, for walk-to-work and work ROV services for another offshore wind project in the region.

CSV Normand Australis will shortly start providing installation support over 90 days on a further Asian offshore wind development, including work ROV and survey services.

Offshore West Africa, the CSV Normand Sentinel has an imminent 190-day firm subsea construction program that includes provision of work ROV and survey services. Commencement is in second-quarter 2024.

The AHTS Normand Prosper will support an FPSO installation project in West Africa over a period of about 60 days.

All five vessels are owned by Solstad Maritime, in which Solstad Offshore has a 31.6 % interest.
