SINGAPORE -- CGGVeritas has chartered two new vessels from 2010 to meet rising geoseismic survey demand, and plans to add six more from 2011-2012, said chairman and CEO, Robert Brunck, at the opening of a new $55 million Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore today.
He also projected a double-digit growth for CGGVeritas' geophysical services and equipment supplies, which currently accounts for one-third of the $10 billion global market. Last year, the company grew by 20%.
CGGVeritas currently operates seven vessels in Asia-Pacific, Brunck said. . 01/17/2008
