Keppel FELS has completed the construction of its second jackup drilling rig for Gulf Drilling International Ltd. (GDI), a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Japan Drilling Co. Ltd. (JDC).

SINGAPORE-- Keppel FELS has completed construction of its second jackup drilling rig for Gulf Drilling International Ltd., a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Japan Drilling Co. Ltd.
Keppel says it was built to the proprietary KFELS B Class design and customized to GDI's requirements for drilling in the Arabian Gulf, capable of operating in water depths of up to 300 ft (91.4 m), drilling 30,000 ft (9,144 m) deep and accommodating up to 110 crew.
