DUBAI, UAE – Orwell Offshore has contracted Drydocks World to fabricate an external turret for an FPSO.
This will serve theLayang project offshore Sarawak, operated by JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (Malaysia).
The shipyard is due to deliver the equipment early next year. It will provide weathervaning capability in water depths of up to 90 m (295 ft).
