Offshore staff
STOCKPORT, UK — Yinson has contracted MAN Energy Solutions to supply equipment for Azule Energy’s new Agogo Field FPSO in Block 15/06 offshore Angola.
The scope of supply covers nine centrifugal compressor trains for gas production, gas injection, gas lift and export, and two screw-compressor trains for use as low-pressure (LP) compression systems.
The FPSO will be stationed 180 km offshore in about 1,650 m and will have a production capacity of 120,000 boe/d.
MAN Energy Solutions will design the nine electrically driven centrifugal-compression trains to maximize gas production, comprising three trains with type RB 45 compressors as medium-pressure systems; three trains with type RB 35 compressors as high-pressure units; and a further three trains with two type RB 28 compressors, each as high-pressure and gas injection units.
As for the two electrically driven SKUEL510 screw-compressor trains (the LP compression units), the resulting flash gas will be pressurized by the screw compressors and returned into the process instead of being flared, helping to reduce CO2 emissions.
All the compressor trains should be ready for installation in 2024.
