Solstad Offshore ASA has won new contracts and contract extensions for 14 platform supply and anchorhandling tug supply vessels in various parts of the world.

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway — Solstad Offshore ASA has won new contracts and contract extensions for 14 platform supply and anchorhandling tug supply vessels in various parts of the world.

The combined firm duration is about 10 vessel years and will support various clients in the global markets. Combined value of the awards is about NOK830 million (US$81 million).

Kenneth Lande, Solstad’s executive vice president of Global AHTS & PSV, said, “These new contracts reflect a continued strong market for offshore support vessels. In general, we see that commercial rates continue to improve and clients are prepared to commit to longer contracts than what we have experienced in recent years.”
