NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, UK  Royston’s India agents have completed installation of  enginei electronic fuel management systems (EFMS) for Mumbai-based Blue Ridge Maritime and Energy onboard the MV Anahita and MV Layla offshore support vessels.

The vessels are owned by a Singapore-based company.

Engineered by Royston, a diesel power specialist, enginei is a comprehensive and flexible energy management tool comprising hardware and software for the marine industry.

The scope of work covered supply of the enginei packages comprise onboard human machine interface and remote monitoring platforms to ensure the vessels’ compliance with IOC requirements and achieve improved operational performance.

System commissioning for MV Anahita took place in Singapore and for the MV Layla in India. Blue Ridge is providing aftersales care and technical assistance to ensure the operator and crews are fully familiar with EFMS systems and operations.

The data are displayed live through a touchscreen bridge display and transmitted remotely to the enginei web portal where the interface enables the rapid production of intuitive online reports and trending graphs as well as provides alerts and map dashboard tracking with weather overlays, showing a detailed operational profile for a vessel.

An onboard flowmeter, with proprietary technology offering diagnostic, monitoring and verification functions, has been integrated with enginei to provide remote sensor verification and performance status without interrupting vessel operations.

Sensor verification is traceable and can be documented in compliance with relevant standards and norms.
