Equinor has contracted OSM Offshore to perform upgrade modifications on the Heidrun B floating storage unit (FSU).

ARENDAL, Norway— Equinor has contracted OSM Offshore to perform upgrade modifications on the Heidrun B floating storage unit (FSU).
The vessel, which operates on the Halten bank region of the Norwegian Sea, was built by Samsung Heavy Industries Korea and has been in service since 2015.
OSM Offshore is responsible for operation and maintenance of the vessel, and it will in parallel act as technical authority, ensuring the vessel’s technical integrity.
Upgrades will take place at the field under a partnership with Odfjell Technology.
