LYNGBY, Denmark — ONE-Dyas has exercised a one-well option to retain the harsh environment Maersk Resolute jackup in the Dutch North Sea.

The extension, valued at $6.3 million, should take effect next month in direct continuation of the rig’s current work scope, with an estimated duration of 75 days. Maersk Resolute, delivered in 2008, is due to embark on a 19-month plugging and abandonment (P&A) contract for multiple operators in the Dutch sector on completion of its program for ONE-Dyas.
