SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – Solstad Offshore has secured contracts for four platforms supply vessels with a total firm duration of around 500 days.
The programs for the Normand Tantalus, Normand Serenade, Normand Springer and Normand Arctic are for operators in the UK and Norwegian sectors, and are due to start in Q2/Q3.
In addition, the company has won assignments for several of its anchor handlers currently trading the North Sea spot market, with a combined firm duration of 365 days.
The vessels will start work this summer in the North Sea, US Gulf and West Africa.
Combined value of the firm period of the contracts is NOK230 million ($26.22 million).
Solstad said the market for offshore vessels continues to improve with strong demand from oil and gas, and increasing demand for renewable energy activity.
