Solstad books North Sea job, sells three anchor handlers

An undisclosed operator has awarded Solstad Offshore ASA’s platform supply vessel Normand Sitella a term contract in the UK North Sea.

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway – An undisclosed operator has awarded Solstad Offshore ASA’s platform supply vessel (PSV) Normand Sitella a term contract in the UK North Sea.

The one-year firm contract is expected to start next month. It includes two optional years.

The Normand Sitella will join the Solstad-owned PSVs Sea Falcon and Sea Forth working for the same UK operator.

In addition, a one-year option on the Sea Forth contract has been declared. This vessel is now on a firm contract until March 2023. A further optional year remains.

Also, two of the company’s subsidiaries have sold three anchor handlers. The vessels are Solstad Offshore Singapore Pte Ltd.’s Nor Captain and Farstad Supply AS’ Far Sword and Far Stream. The new owner took delivery of the vessels today.
