NEWCASTLE-UPON-TYNE, UK – Osbit has delivered its Smart Tower System for riser-less and riser-based well to Wilton Engineering’s yard in Teesside, northeast England.
FTAI Offshore commissioned the 40-m (131-ft) tower for installation on the DP-3 vessel M/V Pride. The system allows for intervention operations in water depths of up to 1,500 m (4,921 ft).
According to Osbit, the design includes various innovations to improve operational safety, flexibility, and accessibility.
