HELSINKI, Finland – Wärtsilä will supply seven thrusters to Eneti for a new GustoMSC NG-16000X-design wind turbine installation vessel under construction at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering yard in South Korea.
The order, placed in October, could be expanded to a second vessel.
The scope includes six Wärtsilä WST-32 thrusters equipped with an electric steering system and one Wärtsilä WTT-36 thruster.
All are set to be delivered to the yard during 1Q 2023, with the completed vessel set to be handed over to the owner in the latter part of 2024.
