STAVANGER, Norway – Six Prosafe semisubmersible rigs are currently on field support duties in the Western Hemisphere.
According to the company, Shell has extended the Safe Zephyrus’ 145-day contract at the Shearwater platform in the UK central North Sea by a further 16 days.
In the same area, the Safe Caledonia has been operating for TotalEnergies at the Elgin platform under a 162-day contract, with the first of two 15-day extension options recently exercised.
The Safe Boreas’ contract for CNOOC at the Buzzard field in the UK central sector has been extended to 160 days.
Offshore Brazil, the Safe Eurus continued to provide safety and maintenance support to Petrobras, while the Safe Notos is on contract with the same client through mid-November.
The Safe Concordia started a 117-day contract offshore Trinidad and Tobago on July 25.
