ZAANDAM, the Netherlands – Cadeler has contracted KenzFigee to replace the deck crane on its self-elevating wind farm installation vessel Wind Orca.

KenzFigee will deliver a Ram Luffing crane with a lifting capacity of 25 metric tons (SWL). The Ram Luffing crane has a box type boom. The limited number of moving parts makes this crane highly reliable and the ideal low maintenance crane for harsh offshore environments, the company claimed.

The crane is expected to be delivered for installation in late 2021. After testing and commissioning the crane is expected to be operational in early 2022.
