ABERDEEN, UK – James Fisher Offshore (JFO) has secured an offshore platform jacket removal project in Saudi Arabia.
The company will supply two full spreads of advanced abrasive cutting equipment to support a contractor’s jacket removal program, with the work continuing long into 2020.
JFO has developed ultra-high-pressure abrasive internal cutting solutions, which are said to offer enhanced accuracy and severing capabilities and time, cost and resource savings.
The system can be used for subsea cutting from piles and jackets to well casings and wellheads.
