Offshore staff
MILAN, Italy – Eni and partner Edison Exploration & Production are developing gas in the G.C1.AG. concession offshore Sicily.
They aim to produce around 1.5 bcm/yr, Edison said, at a total cost of around Eu700 million ($784 million), with start-up due in 4Q 2021.
This will be a fully subsea development with production sent directly to the Gela refinery on the coast, via an existing dock.
After undergoing treatment, the gas will flow through Italy’s national network.
