DELFT, the Netherlands—Allseas will manage the installation scope for Phase 1 of the Tamar gas field expansion project offshore Israel, operated by Chevron.
The Solitaire and Oceanic vessels will perform the program in summer 2024; this involves laying about 150 km of 20-inch pipeline from the Tamar Field to the Tamar platform, and installing small and large subsea structures in water depths ranging from 240 m to 1,660 m.
Allseas also supported the original Tamar development, installing more than 350 km of pipeline during 2010 and 2011 for then operator Noble Energy Mediterranean.
Its scope for the current project extends to installation of umbilicals and pre-commissioning of the pipeline system (flooding, gauging, testing, dewatering and nitrogen purging).
