Long-term deals for three Solstad construction vessels

Solstad Offshore has secured long-term contracts for three of its subsea construction vessels, with a combined time charter value of about NOK1.6 billion (US$156 million).

SKUDENESHAVN, Norway—Solstad Offshore has secured long-term contracts for three of its subsea construction vessels, with a combined time charter value of about NOK1.6 billion (US$156 million).
Havfram has taken the Normand Vision for three years, with an option for a two-year extension. The program will start in January 2024, in direct continuation of the vessel’s current assignment for the company.
DeepOcean has extended its current contract for the Normand Ocean by two years from January 2024, with an option for one additional year.
Finally, Solstad has a letter of intent from an unnamed major in South America to take the Normand Pioneer for 14 months (starting this month), and potentially a further year thereafter.
