Prosafe semisubs mobilizing for North Sea, Australia support work

Prosafe has provided a March operational recap on its fleet utilization. 

The Safe Caledonia semisubmersible accommodation support rig is undergoing reactivation in Scapa Flow, Orkney, UK. The rig is due to mobilize by June 1 to the Captain field in the central UK North Sea to start a program for operator Ithaca Energy.

Another Prosafe support rig, Safe Boreas, will shortly relocate from Norway to Australia where it will start work on a contract sometime between mid-November 2025 and mid-February 2026. 

In addition, Prosafe expects to deliver Safe Scandinavia to a client by mid-year for recycling.

In January, Petrobras extended Prosafe’s safety and maintenance support contract for the Safe Zephyrus semisubmersible rig offshore Brazil, which has been supporting the Búzios project in the Santos Basin. Prosafe reported yesterday that Safe Zephyrus operated at full capacity during March.
