Work starts on Karish FPSO M10 module

Drydocks World has begun the construction of a new topside oil production module for KANFA that will be deployed at the Karish Field in the eastern Mediterranean.

DUBAI, UAE  Drydocks World has started construction of the new M10 topside oil production module for the Energean Power FPSO, which produced first gas last week from the Energean-operated Karish Field offshore Israel.

KANFA ordered the module, an oil separation train.

Drydocks World’s scope of work covers procurement of bulk materials (structural, piping, electrical and instrumentation), fabrication, surface treatment including PFP application, mechanical completion, load-out and sea fastening for M10.

On completion, the topside module will be transported to the Karish Field for installation and integration onto the FPSO.
