TOKYO, Japan— MODEC announced the Almirante Barroso MV32 FPSO started its navigation toward Brazil on July 17.
After arriving in the country, MODEC's newest giant will continue to be commissioned in the city of Angra dos Reis in the southern region of the Rio de Janeiro state.
The Almirante Barroso MV32 FPSO, which will have the capacity to produce up to 150,000 bbl of oil and process 6 MMcm of gas daily, is the 15th platform built by MODEC for the Brazilian offshore.
