KONGSBERG, Norway – Kongsberg Digital will implement its Vessel Insight service for Rem Offshore on three new offshore wind vessels.
The first is due to be completed later this month at Green Yard Kleven in Norway, while the other two are under construction at Vard, with completion expected in 2023 and 2024.
Vessel Insight will allow Rem Offshore to collect data from the vessels and enable use of applications to optimize operations, Kongsberg said.
Two of the applications are Vessel Performance, which supports measures to reduce fuel consumption and emissions and to automate reporting processes, and eFSOG, a decision support tool.
Vessel Insight should be fitted to the first vessel before it leaves the quay on Nov. 29.
