Valaris stacks two jackups

Valaris Ltd. has issued an update on its offshore drilling rig fleet.

HAMILTON, Bermuda – Valaris Ltd. has issued an update on its offshore drilling rig fleet.

Eni has awarded the semisubmersible VALARIS MS-1 a four-well P&A contract offshore Australia. The contract is expected to start in November 2021. The estimated duration is 90 days.

Vermilion Oil & Gas has awarded the jackup VALARIS 107 a two-well contract offshore Australia. The contract is expected to start in April 2022. The estimated duration is 60 days.

An undisclosed operator has awarded the jackup VALARIS 144 a 30-day contract in the US Gulf of Mexico. The contract is expected start in late 4Q 2021 or early 1Q 2022.

Harbour Energy has awarded the jackup VALARIS Norway a contract for accommodation work in the UK North Sea. The contract is expected to commence in November 2021.

The drilling contractor has stacked the jackups VALARIS 67 and 37 (Arch Rowan) in Indonesia and Bahrain, respectively.

It also sold and retired the jackups VALARIS 22 (Valaris Middletown) and 100. The company sold the jackup VALARIS 142 to an undisclosed operator. The rig can only be used on specific assets.
