Prosafe receives UK North Sea Seagull support contract

The Safe Zephyrus’ 10-month charter with bp is expected to start in 1Q 2022.

STAVANGER, Norway – bp has contracted Prosafe’s accommodation vessel Safe Zephyrus to provide gangway connected operations to support the Seagull project at the ETAP central processing facility in the UK central North Sea.
The firm duration of the contract is 10 months with up to four months of options. It is expected to start in 1Q 2022.
The value of the contract firm duration is $35.5 million. The firm duration including options value is $49.3 million.
The Neptune Energy-operated Seagull development is in license P1622, block 22/29C, 17 km (11 mi) south of the (host) bp-operated ETAP central processing facility. First oil is expected in early 2023.
