TRONDHEIM, Norway – Onshore work has been completed on the production jackup for the Repsol-operated Yme field development project in the southeastern Norwegian North Sea.
According to partner OKEA, the Mærsk Inspirer departed the Aker Egersund yard and reached the Yme field location on Dec. 31.
The jackup process has since been completed and the project is now moving into the hookup, commissioning and start-up preparations phase.
Production should begin as planned later this year.
