HELSINKI, Finland – MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has received an order from CNOOC to supply the riser pull-in system for the Lingshui 17-2 semisubmersible production platform.
Delivery is expected during 2020.
The Lingshui 17-2 gas field in the Qiongdongnan basin in the northern South China Sea. Water depths range from 1,220 m to 1,560 m (4,003 ft to (5,118 ft).
In March 2019, CNOOC ordered the on-vessel mooring system for the FPU from MacGregor.
