SOUTHAMPTON, UK — NASH Maritime will serve as shipping and navigation lead for the Shelmalere wind farm development off the coast of Ireland’s Wicklow and Wexford counties.
This is one of three offshore wind projects in Ireland under development by the joint venture of DP Energy and Iberdrola.
Shelmalere, featuring fixed bottom wind turbines, will have a generating capacity of up to 1 GW.
NASH Maritime will perform early design and development support, vessel traffic surveys and navigation risk assessment to support the project’s environmental impact assessment (EIA). NASH Maritime is part of the marine EIA team of Fehily Timoney and Co., Intertek and MarineSpace.

Located off the East Coast of Ireland, the Shelmalere Offshore Windfarm project will utilize fixed bottom wind turbines and, upon completion, will have the potential capacity of up to 1 GW.
