Ørsted and PGE have contracted Etermar Energia to fabricate and supply secondary foundation structures for the 1.5-GW Baltica 2 wind farm development offshore Poland.
Etermar will shortly start manufacturing, storing and loading out more than 100 external working platforms of the wind turbine generator foundations.
It will deliver all the structures with a monopile door, with two structures fitted with radar platforms.
Etermar's base is at the privately owned terminal at the Port of Setúbal. It may collaborate in the future with the Baltica 2 developers on other offshore wind projects elsewhere in Europe.
Baltica 2 should be fully operational by the end of 2027.
