ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – Vattenfall has awarded Van Oord a four-year operations and maintenance framework contract.
Working through its MPI Offshore organization, the company will provide jackup and associated lifting services for main component exchanges across Vattenfall’s portfolio of offshore wind farms.
The contract includes planned and unplanned maintenance campaigns for about 600 Vattenfall wind turbine generators.
The parties both have the option to extend the contract for another year.
