DNO progressing multiple greenfield projects offshore Norway

Nov. 11, 2024
DNO International provides offshore project updates in its latest results statement.

DNO International expects the partners in eight discoveries close to the Troll and Gjøa production hubs in the Norwegian North Sea to take FID on developing the Ofelia-Kyrre finds by the end of 2025.

Concept selection for other discoveries should occur around the same time, the company said in a results statement. Heisenberg, Røver Nord, Kveikje, Ofelia, Røver Sør, Carmen, Kyrre and Cuvette are all close to infrastructure, with clear routes toward commercialization, DNO added.

Elsewhere in the North Sea, DNO is drilling the Falstaff prospect and participating in another well on Ringand.

After assuming operatorship of the Marulk field in mid-Norway, the company anticipates further growth from the Trym field restart in 2025, followed by first production from the Andvare and Verdande field developments.

Bestla, a tieback to the Brage platform, should go onstream early in 2027, while Trym Sør (to be sanctioned) could follow later that year.
