BlueNord has issued an update on operational issues that have impacted production at the redeveloped Tyra II gas complex in the Danish North Sea.

Following problems with the transformer delivering power to the intermediate pressure (IP) gas compressor, the structure was taken ashore for repairs and has since been returned to the Tyra facilities.

Operator TotalEnergies is focused on safeguarding the long-term integrity of the Tyra facilities. Prior to restarting, it plans to implement measures to allow the maximum technical capacity to be reached during the fourth quarter.

The ramp-up of gas export volumes is now expected to be slower than had been anticipated.
