Norwegian government closes CO2 storage round bid period

Aker BP, Altera Infrastructure Group, Horisont Energi, Neptune Energy Norge, OMV (Norge) and Wintershall Dea Norway are the six bidders.

OSLO, Norway  Six companies have submitted applications to Norway’s Ministry of Petroleum and Energy in connection with an area in the North Sea designated last November for potential storage of CO2.

The acreage should be awarded by mid-year.

Aker BP, Altera Infrastructure Group, Horisont Energi, Neptune Energy Norge, OMV (Norge) and Wintershall Dea Norway are the six bidders.
