Petrobras has started the binding phase of the planned sale of 50-100% of its operated stake in the BM-S-51 concession in the Santos basin.

RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras has started the binding phase of the planned sale of 50-100% of its operated stake in the BM-S-51 concession in the Santos basin.
This is located 215 km (134 mi) offshore São Paulo in water depths ranging from 350-1,650 m (1,148-5,413 ft).
The concession, awarded under the ANP’s 7th Bidding Round in 2005, is in the 1st Exploratory Period, with a remaining commitment to drill one well.
Petrobras (80%) operates in partnership with Repsol Sinopec Brasil (20%).
