PERTH, Australia— An incident during a work program at the Woodside-operated North Rankin complex 135 km offshore Karratha, Western Australia, has led to the death of an employee of one of the company’s contractors.
Woodside CEO Meg O’Neill stressed that all other personnel onboard are safe.
“We are taking all steps to understand the circumstances around this tragic event and are cooperating closely with Western Australian Police and the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Emergency Authority in their ongoing investigations,” she added.
