Offshore staff
LEIDSCHENDAM, the Netherlands – OCS Services has handed Fugro a two-year contract to support its asset integrity/corrosion management operations offshore western India.
This includes ONGC’s Protective Coating of Process Platform Project 1, which involves maintenance and refurbishment of 32 offshore platforms in seven clusters. The project is due to be completed by May 2023.
Fugro will provide survey geo-data and positioning controlled from one of its remote operations centers.
According to the company, its digital solutions will help OCS identify debris, seabed features, and subsea pipelines/structures near platform areas to protect the marine environment from damage.
Remote support should also allow OCS to monitor its operations in real-time.
