HAMILTON, Bermuda – Dominion Petroleum says it has signed a production sharing contract for block L9 offshore Kenya in the Lamu basin. The award was announced in March.
Dominion says it now will start the initial exploration with reprocessing of 2,500 km (1,553 mi) of 2D seismic data, conduct block-wide studies, and acquire 500 sq km (193 sq mi) of 3D seismic data during the initial two-year exploration period.
