Production through the Triton FPSO in the UK central North Sea has had to be shut in again, following detection of an issue with one of the compressor seals, according to a Dec. 5 Serica Energy press release.
Operator Dana Petroleum is working on a plan for conducting the repairs, which could take up to four weeks to complete, said Serica Energy.
Work continues to restore two-compressor operations at the facility, Serica added.
