RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Petrobras and bp have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to cooperate on wide-ranging opportunities, including in exploration and production (E&P).
They could also collaborate on R&D and innovation projects.
The two companies are already partners in exploration blocks offshore Brazil, including Alto de Cabo Frio Central in the presalt Campos Basin and in the Barreirinhas Basin—all operated by Petrobras.
