HOUSTON – Vaalco Energy averaged 3,650 boe/d of production during 4Q 2016, above expectations.
The figure included additional volumes from the acquisition of an extra 2.98% working interest in the Etame Marin permitoffshore Gabon from Sojitz Etame.
CEO Cary Bounds said: “Following our successfulwell intervention campaign to quickly and efficiently replace downhole pumps utilizing a hydraulic workover unit, our net production has [since] risen to approximately 4,600 boe/d.”
