JV to extend duty for Shell ONEgas

AMEC and joint-venture partner Jacobs and Stork have won a three-year extension to their Integrated Services Contract for Shell’s assets across the southern North Sea.

LONDON -- AMEC and joint-venture partner Jacobs and Stork have won a three-year extension to their Integrated Services Contract for Shell’s assets across the southern North Sea, which started in 2003.

The $268-million award relates to Shell ONEgas, the combined business unit of Shell UK Exploration & Production (Shell) and the Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij NAM).

AMEC will continue to provide management, engineering, maintenance, project delivery, and operational support to all the 54 southern North Sea offshore assets. The contract also covers the Shell Bacton gas terminal in eastern England and the NAM-operated Den Helder gas plants in the Netherlands.
