STAVANGER, Norway – Noreco has provided an update on production issues at its fields in the Danish North Sea.
The DONG E&P-operatedNini and Nini East field platforms have been producing directly to shuttle tankers, although regularity is dependent on weather in the area. The Danish authorities have approved the continued use of this temporary production arrangement until Oct.1.
This summer the hostSiri platform will undergo repairs. DONG E&P has chartered an accommodation rig for two months to allow the partners to advance other repair work that was partly scheduled for later in 2014.
Operations at Cecilie, another satellite to Siri, are expected to restart just before mid-year.
