RIO DE JANEIRO – Petrobras says the FPSO Brasil on the Roncador field in the Campos basin is now decommissioned.
Its wells will be reallocated to other platforms (P-52 and P-54) serving Roncador, with operations due to be completed by 4Q 2014.
TheP-20 platform on the Marlim field remains shut in for repairs following fire damage to the facility’s chemicals system. This has cost Petrobras 22,000 b/d of oil in lost output.
Operations are expected to resume in the next few days, once remaining reports and authorization have been received, in addition to those already delivered by DNV and the Brazilian Navy.
