HOUSTON – Endeavour International says the Nexen-operated Rochelle field in the UK central North Sea is now offline until repairs to the dry gas export compressors on the host Scott platform are completed.
Last month aplanned shutdown of the Scott platform and associated Forties Pipeline System was done, with Rochelle field returning to production on Aug. 26. Output had exceeded 100 MMcf/d (2.8 MMcm/d) prior to the latest shut-in on Sept. 9, caused by the Scott platform problem.
Repairs are under way andproduction from Rochelle is expected to be restored later this month.
Endeavour has a 44% interest in the field.
