PERTH, Australia – Woodside Energy says production from the Vincent field offshore Western Australia increased last year to 6 MMbbl, up from 5.1 MMbbl in 2011.
This was largely due to contributions from theVNB-H7 infill well from May onward, and from two infill wells that came online in September 2011.
However, the field’s FPSONgujima-Yin is due to head to a shipyard during the first half of this year for works to improve its long-term reliability and availability.
Among Woodside’s other offshore projects, the company has completed the basis of design work to tie in the Xena gas field to thePluto LNG system. Planning is under way to start front-end engineering and design.
