Offshore staff
ABERDEEN, UK – Shell has extended Wood Group’s support contract for three UK offshore assets by three years.
Wood Group PSN (WGPSN) will continue to deliver maintenance and construction services to the Shearwater, Gannet, Nelson, Curlew, Brent Delta, Brent Alpha, Brent Bravo, and Brent Charlie installations.
In addition, the company will provide engineering modifications to the latter three platforms.
The contract carries two one-year extension options. Wood Group thereby expects to secure more than 500 jobs – the company is currently working on ways of reducing personnel based onshore in the UK.
