MUSCAT, Oman — Production from the Yuman oil field in Block 50 offshore Oman has been shut in since late October, said operator Masirah Oil.
This is due to damage to the internal pressure containing liner of a recently installed, larger flowline.
The manufacturer has confirmed that the flowline’s hose integrity has been compromised, and efforts to restore production are underway.
