SAN FERNANDO, Trinidad — Trinity Exploration & Production has restored oil production from all shut-in wells on the Bravo platform at the Trintes Field east of Trinidad following approval from the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries.

The platform was shut down on April 10 following a fire related to a generator. As a precaution, Trinity also shut down the Alpha and Delta platforms, with operations on both those facilities resuming last week.

Earlier, the company restored the ABM-151 well in the Brighton Marine Block offshore western Trinidad to production following refurbishment of surface facilities and the installation of remote surveillance technology.

Initial flow rates exceeded 200 bbl/d on a 10/64-inch choke with 0% water cut. Rates were due to stabilize, supported by the new SCADA automation system.
