RIO DE JANEIRO— Brazilian oil company Enauta has resumed production from the 7-ATL-2HP-RJS (2HP) well in Atlanta offshore field in Brazil, after a halt in early March.
Enauta said April 17 that production had resumed after the installation of the new pump on the seabed.
The company said it will keep the market informed of relevant events related to the matter.
Last May, Drydocks World signed a contract with Yinson Production to upgrade, refurbish and convert the Atlanta Field FPSO on behalf of Enauta Energia. The upgraded vessel will be delivered in third-quarter 2023 to the Atlanta oil field in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil. It should be fully operational by 2024, producing up to 50,000 bbl/d and 12.4 MMcf/d of gas, with 1.8 MMbbl crude storage capacity. It will operate under ABS Class.
